    My Tmaxx goes crazy...what's worng??

hi my tmaxx goes crazy, i have a 2.5 tmaxx with a 3.3 on it, the servo goes crazy and it accelerates on its own... BUT it only does this when the motor is on, if the motor is off the servo and everything else respond normal, but once the motor is going the truck accelerates full throttle on its own. Like i said ONLY happens when the motor is going.

what can the reason be??? i thought maybe the receiver was bad but it works fine as long as the Motor is not going

but why does it happen only when motor is going???? i thought about the tranny engaging but no connection runs through it so that's not possible either

I had something similar happen on my Revo, something was loose on the PCB in the receiver and the vibration from the engine running was enough to make the servos twitch like crazy.

Turn on the radio and then the truck without starting the engine. Does all the servos and stuff work correctly when the motor is not running?

You may just have your idle screw or your throttle trim set way too high. Take off your air filter and look at the inside of the carburetor. There should be a small gap about 1mm wide. If its bigger than that or completely open readjust your throttle trim or idle screw.

no is not that, once the engine is on and i pull the trigger a little the servo accelerates all the way on its own and it won't go back it willl stay full throttle, and all the servos go nuts....!!!, it won't respond to the transmitter at all, but if the engine is off everything works fine. its not the batteries cuz i just put new ones in.

The engine definitely should not interfere with the radio...thats a problem.
