    BUKU clutch

Ok I just put a buku composite shoe clutch in my revo 2.5, It takes forever to shift into 2nd.And when it does the motor just bogs down terrible.I loosened the clutch springs about a 1/4 turn and no difference. It shifted fine and ran fine with the stock clutch. Also I put on one of those dual exhaust pipes and am wondering if that could be my bogging problem. Not enough pressure to the tank at wot?

Start by taking off the pipe and see what happens.

I dont think its running lean, Have plenty of smoke and temps around 220-235. Do u guys think that dual exhaust pipe was a waste of money? It has the most awesome sound to it but makes it bout impossible to prime by yourself. So I put a primer bulb on it and works great.

If its one of those rd logics dual pipes, I've only HEARD bad thing about them. Apparently they Induce a lean condition, inconsistent tunes etc. never had personal experience with them however. I highly doubt the clutch will be ur problem, the clutch is just a mechanism to transfer the engines power into the clutch bell, it can only give what the engine provides, ergo a bogging issue at higher rpm usually means ur motor is running lean.

Try putting ur original pipe on as mentioned by earlier post, retune and hopefully u will start running better. This will atleast narrow ur search down. Good luck mate

Those dual exhaust pipe are sorry to say junk. They don't have enough back pressure.
I wanted to put a really cool signature but I ran

+1 on the dual pipe review above - it looks cool to some people, sounds cool to others but its a horrible design with no innovation or technology build into it.

If you loosen the srpings it will make your situation worse. You making the clutch engage even sooner. You want to tighten them up, this will give you a higher stall. Double G is correct. Since you bolted on that clutch it's a little heaver and it locks up alot better then stock so this puts more of a load on the engine the more load on the engine the more fuel it needs. I would say go back to the factory settings on the clutch and fatten up your both needles just a tiny bit

I'm testing a Buku setup in a Tmaxx 3.3, brand new, well it was, I have it at 1.75 2.5 and 3 turns, it rips like a mother, it's my buds truck but I do all the wrenching on it, that baby will ride a wheelie all day long, I made the same mistake with that pipe when i was new too, it's junk man, It cost me a red dot. Did you get the brass shoes with your clutch?
