Not sure by what standards the above would think "so it's not that cool", but personally I think he's lost his mind.

Even at the worst possible scenario; 2 RTRs (brushed), 3 batteries (NiMh) and a charger sounds like a heck of a deal to me. Congrats. A single roller on e-whatzits would go for $100 easy.

Well, okay deal if you planning on a project, or maybe not, considering all the parts you need to change. What are you going to do with them? To upgrade them to up to date tech will cost much $$$. A roller may cost 100 dollar, in europe you can get a new roller vlx with body for 120 euros in some places.

Why i say its not a good deal ? i got 2 rtr trucks slashes 2wd for 110 with 2 stock bats 1 4200mah and 1 4500mah, both with 2.4mhz controllers... with everything that i put in there to be up to date cost me more then 200$ for each truck. so thats what i say its not that good of a deal, yes cheap. but ive rather buy new truck that was manufactured this year to be up to date with everything... i dont look for stuff of anything else except craigslist. in my are people have trucks on sale all year around and you can posibly find a good deal like VXL for 140$ like i bought my ruslter, it was 1 month old even with TQI controller for 140$ that i consider a good deal.

they both came with vxl 3s and brushless motors lipo batts and lipo charger i thought i got a good deal but idk.... it works great both run perfect! and are in almost flawless condition

thanks everyone it worked out perfect! i did end up eating the gears in the stampede tranny up no big deal.... we was having fun so it was well worth it haha i got the tires from the pede on my slash 4x4 atm and they handle very very well on there

That receiver wont fit in the waterproof boxes you would need the smaller receiver found in the newer trucks or one off of the erevo or emaxx should fit as well. Although for the money a cheap 2.4 system would probably run just a few more dollars than the receiver and the 2.4 receiver should fit in the waterproof box.

Anyone who says 2 RTR trucks with batteries and chargers ISNT a good deal at $100 is ridiculous. Sure, there are BETTER deals out there, but the fact that there are BETTER deals doesnt make even 2 BRUSHED trucks for $100 a BAD deal.

The fact that the 2 trucks you bought are brushless... that makes this a STUPID good deal. Just those brushless systems alone are worth about $180-200. The rollers, even if they were the older models are worth $50 each. Batteries and chargers are probably worth about $25 or so if you re-listed them on craigs list. probably a bit more.

Overall you just scored a minimum of $250-300 in stuff for $100. I buy these types of package deals all the time and i make MONEY. Don't get discouraged because someone doesnt see the value. This was a great buy... even if they were brushed or older model. Still a great buy.

I couldn't agree more with pavmentsurfer, unfortunately in my area if there is a traxxas on CL it is usually priced double what it's worth. But I still keep an eye out you just never know.

thank you both we was actually looking for a truck or buggy or something for my girlfriend when we stumbled upon this i was like does that say 2 trucks with brushless velineons for 100$????!?!??!?! i was like give me that phone we have to get these! lol she was like yes we do! and she has taken them both over..... i dont mind haha i still got my slash 4x4 im working on for myself few more things and ill have it running supreme u can follow me on my build in the slash 4x4 fourms
