Just go it yesterday and broke it in. Came home from work today, changed to new glow plug. Fired it up an she ran about 5 minutes. It shut off and I refueled it. Now it won't starts. I cleared it in case it was flooded. Wot crank though. Everything looks good elsewhere

If the wire is stripped and you have the metal wire touching the metal head the truck will not start. Try to hold the wire away from metal and see if it starts, if it does, just tape the wire up until you can get a new one.

I think a "hot shot" is a glow ignitor. I use hot shot glow ignitors on my savage.
lowrhader, keep us posted if you get it started. Is the battery in your starter charged all the way?
Also could be flooded because if you did the break in but didn't make it leaner afterwards it will run extremely rich.
Take out the glow plug and and use the starter to turn the engine over while the truck is upside down. If its flooded all the excess fuel will come out the top of the engine.

I did all that I think the wire for the glow plug is shot. Neither plug will glow at all when out and tried to ignite. I just ordered a 4 wires, 4 plugs, extra air filters, shocks, a arms, grease, and a body in case I beat this one up too bad trying to learn to drive again. Also. There was EXCESSIVE fuel coming from the exhaust while trying to start. Would flooding cause this?

Yea it sounds flooded with an excessive amount. and i heard alot of people actually ditch the glow plug wire and use an ignitor for it. More stuff to carry but won't drain your battery as bad.
I have no stress because I am the best!

Did both lights on the EZ Start stick come on when you pressed it? I would definitely try using a glow ignitor as referenced above to test your glowplug since you have 2 not working..... Could be a wiring issue, the connectors on the end of the EZstart stick can get pushed in to the point they don;t make contact.

If the 2 lights don't come on and you have a verified good glow plug, then it's either the wiring harness connections or the EZStart stick itself. I've seen it when the blue wire has a short to ground and it messes up the EZStart stick on the 1.5 volt output side. Also if you ever put the 7.2 v pack connected backwards (it can and has been done) it will blow the 1.5 volt circuit.

Hope this helps. And yes if you have no glow plug firing the fuel has to go somewhere,,, out the exhaust. That's normal.
