Made it 2 days & the driveshaft is completely out of whack - any ideas?

It appears the rear shaft itself is completely bent in every direction. Something must have gotten stuck & the torque from the engine must have bent it? Regardless I'm having difficulty finding the parts I need. It appears the entire CVD's (6451 & 6452) are quite expensive and difficult to find. All that I need as it appears is the actual external spline shaft is what I'll need - anyone have any links on where to purchase these?

Are others having this same issue?

    Thanks,

    Lance

ebay is typically your friend on these.... also the driveshafts have individual parts that are numbered. See the exploded diagrams, purchase items needed for repair....

I've hammered some small bends out of mine. The trick is not smashing your splines and making it straighter than when you started. I chuck mine(spline side) in a cordless drill to spin it up to see how bad it's bent and where.

You chucked it into the drill's chuck?

How much drill could a bob-chuck chuck if a bob-chuck could chuck drill?

They could have been defective out of the box. You might want to give traxxas a call. They might replace them. Worth a shot as these are pretty pricey and hard to come by parts.
