You mite need some new tires. I can pull rolling wheelies on 9.6, 2s, and 3s and I run Tmaxx size wheels...AND my gearing is 19/86

traction was an issue for me. i just did a quik test on my lcg and i have more traction now but weight transfer is a little better now so its hard to do wheelies again. lol

I run the VXL system in mine, use 1/8 buggy tires and 2s lipo and cannot do wheelies. No matter what gearing it just will not do it. Just for fun I even tightened the slipper down and still no wheelies. I have no idea why but mine will not do them. My merv will do them all day on 2s and I can say they are only fun for a short time and then it gets really boring and frustrating, to me anyway.

I broke if count 6 wheelie bars from traxxas by doing wheelies, done with them, its not fun anymore, couple times yes, but breaking so many bars is stupid...

If you have good traction (tire grip and clutch set up), the velineon motor on 2s @ 19/90 will do wheelies all day long.

How are you breaking wheelie bars if you can't do wheelies?

well that i was talking about rustler my rustler does wheelies all day long with even nimh batteries, and slash is just spinning wheels. I break them like crazy, cause i learned how to do wheelies almost 90*stand and after those attempts the plastic seem to be breaking haha i need a bulletproof bars

Just wondering, you guys pulling wheelies, are you running stock tires, and stock springs? Mine doesn't, but if I put a bunch of preload spacers in the back (Stiffening rear suspension) it barely lifts the front, but the tires just throw a roost and don't hook too well. Also, what terrain are you pulling wheelies on? I'd think tires, rear suspensions, and terrain all play a big role here, not just motor and battery.

i just got my new 40-80c 4000mah 2s and it does wheelies with it now. i tighten my clutch all the way then back it off about a quarter turn.

I run the stock bfg and the stock springs. I do it with spacers and with out them. For you guys that cant wheelie but you have tried,... what kind of surface are you running on. I do it on asphalt and pavement.

I can wheelie with my stock gearing and Pro-line Gladiators. They work great. ( not sure how long they will last )
