this is just some stuff i have been checking out online thinking about ordering these are the exact prices with tax! it will cost roughly around 350$ not alot i know concidering within the last 2 months i dropped 1800 into my slash..... im just getting to the point where i feel like my slash is breaking every time i run it then i fix it and it breaks again so i dont really get to use it so i figured these parts would make it durable enough to not break on me i hope because if i put all these parts on it and it breaks i will either sell it or run it over with a car because im about to be like 2200$ in and nothing to really show but my rc car LOL

Instead of the integy shocks you should go for the Proline ones they are better quality besides that everything seems great

+1 on the Proline PowerStrokes shock. Just remember that they do not come with fluid in them.

The traxxas stock driveshaft is way better than the Integy one, If the alloy conversion set is the one with the aluminium arm's it is a worthless set. DON'T DO IT! Just get RPM arm's traxxas aluminium steering, castor and rear bearing carrier's. Near bullet proof setup with that stuff. I'd do the Powerstroke's or big bore's. You can even get a set of Vorza D8 16mm big bore shock's for less than the price of the Proline's. If your a basher I would stay away from the tekno's, look into the MIP Xduty's, they are way better for bashing than the Tekno's.

The only part from Integy that is worth anything is the Rustler/slash aluminium gearbox, everything else is JUNK!

Not to be harsh but if you have already spent 1800 on your slash, your doing something wrong. Weather it be buying the wrong part's or just being reckless with your slash. I have put $400 into my slash in the last 2 year's and that price include's the CC 2400 SCT combo, 2x 4s lipo's and the king head's mount. I have only broken 1 suspension arm and 4 body post's, that's it. Good luck.

Rpm all around is a great choice that's what I have on my truck. I haven't broken any parts in a while. I'm also running rear mip

IMO, others may agree, integy is a very bad choice for aluminum, the center driveshaft they make is trash, many people they say that they have broke the tekno axles, and i +1 on proline powerstrokes

Also if you have spent 1800 into your slash, you need to buy the right stuff, you could have saved so much money... alot of us have great opinions

ok so i had the mips problem is the stuff kept backing out bolts and pins and i cracked one of the mips and all i was doing was speed runs no jumping teknos suit me perfect as for the alum parts! as for the rpm stuff right now i am running rpm a arms and have broken 2 sofar lol i have the big bores on it as it sits right now and 1800$ yes because the plastic items keep breaking not to mention i dropped a mmm combo in the car + a set of mip rear <which i cracked at the top and my teknos are still perfect!!!! so ill only need the rear teknos im not much of a basher if any a ramp mabye at the most 2foot high going 10-15mph lol i like doing speed runs my trouble is the car hydro planes with weights and rolls causeing the plastic stuff to break

the teknos are said to break in the middle of the shaft, compeletely snap. if your breaking rpm you dont need aluminum, you will bend them and they cant be bent back. if rpm breaks you buy a new one for a third of the price as aluminum

Definitely no INTEGY. I have given them countless chances for good stuff. No way never again. I had their awesome look'n piggy pack shocks. All they would do is leak. LOL We warn you with good reasoning.

Also a nother good choice for shock is the Losi Ten T shocks. They are a really nice set for $50. I also have Traxxas big bores, Proline Power Strokes on my other rides. But since thedreadend talked me into these ive been converted. Very good shock for the money if you ask me.

i am confused on the carriers and stuff that will fit with the tekno axels.... as they come with the rear carriers and stuff... any one give me a lil help and part numbers and prices? im looking for them in silver

You can only use the Tekno carrier's with there axle's. They only come in plastic. I think you have to use the Tekno hex's also as they are 6mm hole's.

I Eat Dirt is correct. Tekno uses a 6mm stub for increased durability, so you must use Tekno aluminum hexes to fit the stub. Tekno rear carriers are heavy duty and I haven't heard of anyone breaking one. Plus they allow for a crazy amount of adjustment to the rear suspension.

I haven't done hardly any upgrades to mine. Then again I probably don't bash as hard as some of you guys do, but just bought the car to get a feel for how it runs. I might move into Nitro in a few months

Nitro is a whole new beast. If you do not like tinkering with your vehicle then you probably want to stay with electric. Nitro requires a lot of tuning and tinkering. People who are new to Nitro will spend more time working on their trucks than playing with them. Getting a Nitro to run properly is an art. It is great if you want to do that. If you want to just plug and play stick with electric.

on my truck i have all RPM. Ive had it on there for about 6-7 months. In that time i broke two front a arms and a front shocktower. Im a hard basher when i bash. $12 for a RPM shock tower WARANTEE for life. or $25 o na aluminum shock tower that will jsut bend, My opinion is just get RPM for arms, bumpers and shick towers, and traxxas aluminum for the c hus, rear hubs and steering blocks. My aluminum has been on my truck for so long, and none of it has broke.
