    My mini me build. Lol

Ok so I have owned my 03 Is300 for about a year now and love the car. Great ride, and plenty of get up and go. I wanted a mini version. I found the tamiya is200 kit, but it was discontinued. So i watched ebay for months and finally scored one. Now an IS200 and IS300 are the same chassis and body design with different motors.
Being that mine is a 300 the kit had to be as well. All thanks to signs by suzie of princeton, IN.

Finally got the time to build it up roughly. No reciever, esc, or radio yet. Still needs some more stickers for realizm. (I.E. sunroof, side marker lights, and license plate. Tamiyas kit is 4wd and the car itself is really only rear wheel drive, so I removed the front dog bones.

This is my one and only shelf queen. Itll see pavement, but only a little.

Nice! For a shelf queen that only sees a little road time... I'd chop the body mounts and use Velcro.

already had the predrilled holes. Ill chop the body mounts down but since the holes are there theyll still be used.

looks awesome! I think it is the perfect choice for a shelf queen because it models what you actually own It's the only car I'd suggest aluminum suspension arms and other show off accessories.

Unfortunately, as cool as this car is, it's not a Traxxas so this thread isn't going to be around long.

No, you can't. Traxxas is very strict about that. If it was just the car body it would be fine but because it's on another brands car it's not acceptable.

Then again i should have seen it coming. I mean if i can get a ticket for no seat belt in my car with airbags and a designed crumple zone, but hop on my street bike in shorts and a tank with no helmet and be legal. I see why it makes sense to block rc talk on an rc forum. Geesh i dont get it anymore

Pave this is not towards you at all. Its more of a wow statement and realization. Thank you for the heads up tho.

No problem man. You need to look at it like this. If Honda owned a Street Bike track they should have the option of only allowing hondas on it right. Its their track... they can do what they want. They paid for it so they should be able to limit other brands from participating.

Same for the traxxas forum. Traxxas pays for the forum and its maintenance. So its their right to limit discussion of any kind to traxxas vehicles only. I can see that it can be confusing in the ally but the truth is, once you start "minor" discussions on other branded vehicles it just makes more people more likely to start more "major" discussions on other brands. So its easier just to say NO off brand discussions.
