bad signal

Went to run the brushless jato today and for some reason it had a very bad signal. It would only reach about 30 yards or so and then hesitate a lot and lose signal. A couple times it actually took off on me at full throttle when it was out of range. is there anything that would have randomly caused that to happen?

Interference.

Try another crystal, or grab a 2.4ghz kit.

I don't really have the $$$ for the 2.4 system, just spent most of it on the vxl system. I will try the different set of crystals. It's just weird that one day it was fine and the next day it was acting up like that

You can get a transmitter and reciever for $60ish.

Anyhow, yeah, that's the thing about interference, it's not always a problem. Change crystals, see if it changes.
