    XO-1 tires on a slash 4x4 ultimate.

So who has these on their slash 4x4? How do they grip on pavement? Can you use the stock aluminum hubs, carriers and c hubs?

You will need to run Traxxas 17mm hexes to fit the wheels

TRX X01 wheels will only fit the TRX Hexes

TRX Hexes will however allow fitment of other wheels

This slash is obviously setup up for street running/speed runs. Have you found that the XO-1 tires allowed you to go faster? I am running a slash ultimate with Robber tires and at about 60 mph, it starts to get squirrely and wants to flip and crash. It was suggested that at that speed, the Robber tires are ballooning, causing a very small tire surface, thereby causing the slash to “hydroplane” and start to slide on dry pavement. I can elaborate on my setup if anyone can help me get this car to go faster that 60 mph. I don’t mind buying the XO-1 tires @ $80 and the 17mm hex adapters at $35 if it meant a more stable drive at speeds above 60 mph. Thanks in advance for you input…

ryan. - I see you have the XO-1 tires on your slash. What are your top speeds? Is that what you were going for - speed? Or is having the XO-1 tires on your slash more cosmetic? Just asking - thanks...
