Hows that ESC working out for you? I bought 2 of them to pair with a couple EZrun 2700kv 4065 motors but have read alot of reports of those ESC's just NOT working all of a sudden. Most agree they can not be run on 6S, but alot of the failures were on 4S...

Just curious how yours are working out for you. 2X 6cell packs probably aren't that hard on the ESC so thats good.

I also have an MMM/2250kv combo (XErun motor) and an EZrun 120amp/Kershaw 3674 I could try out at some point.

They are bangin' i haven't ran it in a while because i took my emaxx apart to rebuild it. I'm waiting for my steering servo and reciever from to get back in stock before they ship them out. I just wish i had lipos. I just gotta wait til my nimh/nicd charger dies. Then i'll pick up a new battery charger and run 4s.

mine hasn't died yet (knock on wood) i think the motor is acting up and not running right. like i said i have to wait til i get my servo and receiver before i run it again and do an update. Other than that i also need to upgrade to steel center driveshafts. still debating on whether i want the traxxas steel cvds or the mip steel cvds.

Here's mine. Been running BL for about a year and LOVE IT.
Since this picture was taken I've added new bellcranks, servo, RRP slipper, CVD's, and one new E Maxx rear diff.

Has amazing power compared to all my other R/C's, almost intimidating.....almost

No pics with me, but i am running a ******* ********* motor, and HBK 120amp ESC. 18/70 gearing on 4S. LOVE IT... I have upgraded the entire driveline to the 3.3 spec. Shafts, RPM arms, whole works. I have a High torque metal gear steering servo, steel idler gears in tranny, aluminum front bulkhead, etc. All upgrades needed to run brushless.

Great looking truck! You don't see too many Cirrus servos these days. I have several of their servos because I just love the clear case!

Are you running the 2560kv 6 pole motor t-savage?

Good eye seeing the Cirrus servo Cooleocool. Bought a few of those years ago and they won't die. They were about $10.00 and it was money well spent.

The pics are up on my screen PowerToTheMax.

Yes.. It is the 2560kv 6 pole motor with a Hbyking 120amp ESC. Great setup. Got motor and ESC for $90 bucks. Cant beat that for 1/8 scale setup. Running 4S with 18/70 gearing. I did the complete 3.3 transform on it. Shafts, arms, diffs, etc. Plus the steel idler gear. Just high since it is locked in. Running great. Will try to get pics up on here. Its the only truck i have not taken pics of yet...

That's a nice truck t-savage. Real Bead Locks, are they aluminum ?

The power from the 2560kv is Awesome!!! I didn't realise how much power it had till this happened.

Had my truck out and noticed the power wasn't there. Did some inspection and found that the slipper was slipping too much. Tightened it down a little and WOW!!!! Couldn't keep the front wheels on the ground and it would backflip on dirt at half throttle. Loosened the slipper a little and the truck was easy to drive. Pulled hard but not so hard that the wheels were in the air.
I have the RRP slipper and it is the BEST. The adjustment is soo precise and it holds like no other I've ever had.
If your running BL power in a 3906 the RRP slipper is a must have, IMO. The stock slipper works ok when it's fully tightened but puts a lot of stress on the drivetrain. After seeing how well the RRP works you can't go wrong getting one.
