Got me a Used Traxxas Summit 1:10... Batteries?

    Hi all!

I bought a used Traxxas Summit 1:10, and... now I need batteries! It came with the Low Voltage Cutoff so I can use Lipos... but... I need to order lipos, and am unsure which to get, that fit.

    Can someone advise?

I know it's 2S packs... What C rating? And what size will fit?

    I'm thinking these?

Hope you can advise. I prefer from {Name Removed} for now... as my wife is already freaking at the cost of the car.

If you get an 5Ah pack, I'd say get something with 25C or more. You don't NEED that many amps, but it's good to have some ''extra'' just in case. Also check out SPC LiPos.

If you are comfortable with LiPo, I have ******** 7600 40-80C for my Summit and love them. I have been getting run times approaching 2 hours with these packs!!

Id heading straight over toe SPCracing.com and checking out their packs. The 5000's are a silly deal and fit great. They will give you about an hour of low speed run time. The 8200's are amazing and can proide nearly 2 hours of crawling.

    Spc 8200. Best battery ever.
The **** 7600 are great too, but when you factor in shipping time, customer support and sometimes dodgy quality of them, spc is a no brainer for only a few bones more.

They fit fine. You dont need to modify anything to fit, but I suggest you snip out the battery vent webbing or cut the battery door some.
