    Crimped antenna

    i think my receiver antenna may be crimped to bad or cut is there anything i can do to fix this cause the range is horrible ( maybe cut strip and solder it back together??

    if it's 2.4 then best off just buying new Rx.Or see if traxxas can do something with it.
    Problems.The manual's good starting point. Simple

    Actually thats good because you can just solder on more wire to make the antenna longer.
    Check the antenna and see if theres any damage to it. If there isn't, just solder on more of the same type of wire to make it longer. Guarunteed improved range.
    Just make sure your solder is small enough to still slide through the antenna tube, thats important.

    Yeah I love mine! FAR less glitching. The 27mhz glitches if you just wave the antenna around!! No thanks. The Traxxas High Output 2.4s are dreamy! WAY better than the Spektrums I've used. Just not very pretty.
