    Way too small to get any meaningful speed. Even a 1/4 mile track (like a high school athletics track) would be too small. Need a BIG banked oval, or a velodrome!

    Not too small. Just need some skill in tuning to get the most out of the cars. The ¼scale cars are running around 60 there. You dont have to go 100 mph to race.

    Although not an XO-1 owner, the idea of seeing an XO-1 in a velodrome track was quite appealing to me, so I searched a bit in YouTube and found this video (w/o an XO-1 but with an rc car in a velodrome track):
