    Bad luck with wheels =/

So i have my slash 4x4 with a castle 2200kv motor. The problem i have had is that i have stripped 2 hex adapters and one stock wheel. I was thinking about moving to 17mm hex adapters but still want a wheel and tire combo that will look scale under the sct body. Any thoughts?

I had that happen to me too! I just bought plastic epoxy and glued a brand new hex to the rim! Its still running strong!

Yeah you can just glue them back into place, it works very well, i ve even done it with my e-revo. or you can go with aluminum hexes and make sure you tighten the wheels very tight. that almost eliminates the problem but there still is the chance of stripping, but it does help.

I was thinking of getting xo-1 wheels w/ 17mm hex. Im not sure what tires I would be able to run them with. I have stripped 5 wheels out now with a similar setup. I have aluminum hex's and tighten the wheels on with a ratchet. Still stripped 3 stock wheels and 2 desperados.

Stretched 2.8 trenchers on 3.2 RPM revolvers.
17mm hex. I was actually able to go through my lipos running 4s.
