Center shafts
So I'm build a brushless emaxx and waiting fOr my transmission to come so I went to my lhs and got the traxxas center shafts the metal ones and the guy told me that the 5650r ones will fit. So when I get home I'm looking at them and says they are for the revo and summit. Will these fit?

Hey man if you have a 3908 E-Maxx then you want these:
5151R, they are listed for the 3905, but the 3905, 03 and 08 all share the same chassis, tranny and drive train.

Buytraxxas.com lists that the 5650R is for Revo and Summit, it says nothing about the E-Maxx.
Take them back before you open them. Tell them you need a 5151R (if you want to go with Traxxas brand).
Sorry

****. Yeah I opened them I'm gonna call them Tomm and see if they will take them back. Stupid guy at the hobby shop said they would work.

I feel ya. It's kind of hit or miss at my LHS. Some of the guys have great knowledge on cars and trucks, some are good with heli's and planes and well some... Are just drawing a paycheck.
I asked one of the guys if they could order me a RPM front and rear bumper for my E-Maxx, he says "Yes, let me look up the part number", he starts flipping through the pages of their Traxxas parts book!!
I was like, hey dude, I know what the part number is and I don't think your going to find a RPM part in that Traxxas book.
Moral of the story is; do the research before you go to the LHS and tell them what part you want.

Yeah that sucks. Thing is this guy is my go to guy never had a problem with him at all. But I was throwing a lot at him so maybe he just got confused. Just sucks bc it a cruise to get there.

I had the exact same thing happen. I just returned them and he ordered the correct ones.
