Question help with # and size part

First I really I don't know where put this (Maxx trucks or here)

I was driving my T-Maxx 3.3 and I see the engine running very lean and I see like a air leak and nitro-oil coming out form the engine on this part:

I think is the o-ring from the header

    My questions are:

1-What is the size of the o-ring?

    2-What is the o-ring # part?

The cooling head just above that left screw seems to indicate you had some kind of damage there.... Was there an accident or something?

Also I noticed your yellow wire for the EZ start seems to be placed on the exhaust bolt in one of the pics... That needs to be moved to the motor mount bolt...

The part number is Traxxas # 5256 for the exhaust O-ring.. Fits the 2.5, 2.5r and the 3.3..

I found it in the www.support.traxxas.com site and looked up the engine. They have all the info you need there.

The first thing you should do is make sure the head bolts are tight.

Ok I remove the manifold and I see this.

    The manifold don't have cracks.

I say the problem is the o-ring.
I am going to buy another and see what happen.

Yeah, your o-ring is split at the 11 o'clock position. Buy a new one or two.

yes it really hard to start with a o-ring damage, because the engine make pressure to the fuel tank and the damaged o-ring cause loss pressure.

Tell tale sign,,,, bunch of dirty fuel debris on the back of the motor..... If it's not wet and oily around the exhaust header it's probably not leaking....
