what is the best brand e-maxx diff spool? i have broken two already each after only one day of crawling... im only running a single titan 775 and stock axles

why is the spool breaking before even a worn plastic axle?

    The traxxas one.

Spools are meant for running in the sugar sand(think sand dunes) you need to put a regular stock diff back into it.
    Look out for the tree/crunch!

    LiPo? Naw NITRO!!

    Best spool? Not sure...

Try a non-locked diff, and some silly putty.

i was using one i got from a company called hopmeup... a company i but lots of rc parts from

i was using the spool because im making my maxx into an off road crawler/mud truck...when the spool was in it worked great and i noticed a huge improvement in what i can climb over but they dont seem to hold up to stress

I ran a spool in my old E-maxx, in my 3903 E-maxx, and am currently running one in my E-Revo powered by a 775 and have never snapped one. I use the spool made by Traxxas. If you run on pavement or high traction surfaces a spool isn't a good idea. Make sure your slipper is set so it will slip before the spool (or an axle) snaps. Throttle control is key also. I watch my son squeeze the throttle hard while his Summit is stuck with the wheels bouncin and catching and I cringe. Oh well, his truck and money, not mine
