Lipo question.

So i picked up my first lipo the other day. a Venom 5000 20c 7.4v got home charged it up ran great in both my pede and slash. now in my pede it runs at half the speed and the slash as soon as I pull the throttle back it goes into low voltage shutdown. did it mess up my esc's or is it something with the battery? Yes I had the low volt system on my xl-5's on lol. anyhelp would be great thanks!

i would repeak the lipo and then try it again. make sure you have it in lipo mode like you do and also make sure its not in training mode. if those 2 check out then it might be your titan 12t motors. i have a couple batteries from that company and havent had a single problem but thats just me though. test your titans with a nimh battery to see if they still work ok.

it was a combo of both. the titan in my pede went out last night but before i recharged my lipo and it ran perfect...till that big blue flash shot out of the titan lol

then thats what happened the titans blew, i would upgrade to the vxl or upgrade to a cheaper brushless system and save your self from buying titans at 25 a pop. you can sell the xl-5's for like 35-40 each shipped usa and use that money to buy a 80 brushless system. as if you get 40 from esc and then the 25 you pay for the titan thats 65 right there and another 15 gets you a system that will last some time.
