Heres my emaxx build..comments welcome

Well here's just another emaxx build for u guys. Started off as a 2.5 tmaxx roller. The guy I got it from spray painted the wheels with the tires on it needless to say they were in terrible shape. So I started by boiling the wheels to get the tires off, after that I soaked the wheels in brake fluid for a few days and got all the paint off and then dyed them using rit.

I put the tmaxx chassis trans and center shafts on eBay and sold all that for more then what I paid for the roller itself. So I bought a chassis and all the plastics in a kit from eBay for $40. When that all got here I dyed the chassis black and red which turned out maroon.

After everything dried I started putting everything together and I must say I never realized how big a emaxx really is. As I was putting everything together I started replacing all the screws with stainless hex heads that I've had from other trucks. I didn't have enough to do everything but got most of it done.

When I was putting the rear back together I noticed one of the arms was broken. So I headed to the store to get some rpms. They only had blue so I got them and dyed then black.

Now everything is back together just waiting for my electronics and transmission which will be here next week. I'm gonna be running a hpi flux brushless with 2 2s lipos.

I've heard that the difs won't hold up to brushless but I'm waiting till they break to replace them.

I'm also only gonna be running a single servo.

Well that's all I got for now I'll post back with updates.

For my motor esc combo I ordered the HPI flux scream 1965kv motor and the HPI flux rage 80amp esc. I`m thinking I`m gonna buy 2 20c 2s lipos

I like how that chassis and wheels turned out... FSU Seminole fans here in Florida would go nuts over that!

Thanks guys. Yeah I should be running this weekend or early next week. Still have to order my slipper kit. What run times do u Guys think I should see with dual 2s 20c 4800mah

Heres an update for u guys if ur following. I went to get my center shafts from my lhs and they gave the wrong ones so i returned them and ordered kershaw designs today so hopefully I will get them next week. I also order 4 2s 5000mah lipos and 2 chargers that will be here thursday. I got my trans today and had to modify the motor plate that I had. Its not pretty but it`ll work till i can buy another one. Im using a 27mhz radio and hpi scream 1956kv motor and a hpi rage esc.
