New Pro-line Sand Paws Gearing Swap

Just purchased a set of 2.8 Sand Paw Paddles for my new 3.3 Jato. Will I have to swap clutch bell and spur gear to keep some low-end punch off the line? Or will the stock gearing work reasonably well?

Now that I have the stock Anacondas for street, and the paddle tires for sand, does anyone know of a good aggressive dirt tread with Traxxas style beads that will fit the O.E.M. All Star Chrome Rims?

im partial to the proline trenchers and badlands. I know the trencher can come with the traxxas beads but im not sure about the badlands. I use the trencher for transitional surfaces dirt to gravel to asphault to grass etc and badlands as strictly offroad grass and dirt.

Thanks for the info. I like the Proline Trencher tread pattern. I just wasn't sure if they came with the horizontal bead for Traxxas wheels, or I would have to buy 4 new wheels to get them all to match? My local hobby shop doesn't carry many choices, and they say they can order them, but I can do that myself. I ordered the Sand Paws from A Main Hobbies with a couple of the O.E.M. All Star Chrome Wheels. I followed some tire taping advice I found on here, (aka adding fiber belts to the original tire just like steel belted radials?) and will finish gluing them tomorrow.

Thanks! I will order those tomorrow. The paddle tires are a blast in the sand! However the dirt road I play on is a sand/clay road that is hard-packed with a thin sand layer on top. I think the PL trenchers will work better. I already have two neighbors that have ordered new Jato 3.3s after they saw mine..... gotta' have that edge when they get their's? LOL!
