    need more traction

I run Castle 2400 with 3s and 4s. Alot of pavement running (80%). I am destroying tires, mainly rears, i do rotate them. I know i have a powerful setup and i know pavement is not kind to tires. I balded my stock tires in about 20 packs. I am running streetfighters now and i can see the wear after a few 3s and 4s packs already.

What can i adjust to make some better traction. I run 80wt shock oil and proline powerstrokes. I know the oil is heavy but it suits my driving and jumps without bottoming out to much.

Maybe loosen the slipper clutch? This might keep you from spinning the tires so much.

A lot of people run the 2400 and use the slipper. You running the stock slipper or have you upgraded to the Revo? With any more power than the stock motor, you really need the Revo slipper.

Thought about the revo upgrade. Won't that give me more power to the wheels??

No. A slipper absorbs some of power on acceleration by slipping. It reduces wheel spin which gives you more useable power and protects numerous parts of the truck including your tires.

You need to learn some throttle control. Take off easy and you don't wear tires as bad. The 2400 system is just hard on tires. I have gone through a set since February 13 on my Ultimate.
