    difference between 2 spur gears

    hi..

    what is the difference between this spur http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Slash-4x4-...#ht_1874wt_948

    and this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TRAXXAS-SL...e#ht_500wt_967

    thank you.. the first link says something about center diff.
    but my question is.. the center diff is where the other spur (2nd link) goes.. is it right?
    so where is the difference?

    The first one is for the the spur gear that you would use with the center diff, the second is the one you would use if you are running the slipper clutch setup. You cannot run the slipper clutch spur with the center diff setup and you cannot run the center diff spur with the slipper setup. These are the same size and count but they are meant to mount to one or the other.

    here is the slipper assembly;

    here is the center diff assembly;

    Hope this help's.

    Just a heads up. If you're going to buy a center differential, it comes with a 50T, 52T and 54T.
