I think I have narrowed my choices between two different charger systems. I did some searching on chargers and ps within the Summit forum and got some good recommendations. I also read the LiPO tutorial by and gentlemen here who keeps the moderators busy.
However between the two units (w/o cost being a major factor) which will give me a more timely charge solution? Meaning if I need to charge both my batteries from a storage or exhausted state, would I be better off having two chargers at a lower wattage or a bigger charger at a larger wattage? I am not sure I want to parallel charge for non-tangible reasons.
Lets say I will have two batteries (for now) that will be my only true power source for the Summit.
(2) Polymer (LiPo) Battery Pack; 8200mAh, 30C, 2S, 7.4V. It is possible that if new batteries with higher MaH show up that fit in the battery tray, I might give those a whirl.
I am thinking the FMA has more features and leg room, but the iChargers would give me a bit more versatility. Ultimately would both options allow me to charge the above batteries in less than 60 minutes?
In no particular order:
* (2) iCharger 206Bs
* (1) PowerMax PM3-45 (or a PM3-55) 600W PS
* (1) FMA PowerLab 6
* (1) MeanWell SE-1000-24 PS
