traxxas lipo 3c 5000mah or 8400 mah.. purchasing tomarrow so looking for some insight

Well just recieved my spartan yesterday... took it out of the box and put it on its stand.... Now im going to purchase some batterys tomarrow and I was looking for some insight on traxxas lipo 3c 5000 mah vs 8400 mah.... looks like the same power and that it would just run longer? u think the extra 9.4 oz or 18.8oz combined extra weight vs 5000mah would really slow the boat down any? im also going to use them in my slash..

also what kind of run times should I expect? 5000 vs 8400?

you think weight is a concern on the 2 8400's? vs 5000's? for top speed?

somebody just say... 5000 6400 or 8400.. honest opinion on traxxas power cell lipo...

The added weight will decrease top end slightly and decrease acceleration....But will give a little more stability....Battery placement will be important.....Racing, 5000mah....stable longer runs, 8400 mah batts.

i get 25 to 30 mins on my 8400 just got a second pair now with two 5000 as well to try
