    new esc

    Had that nutral to forward stopping thing going on and it shut off 3 times close to warrenty so i bought a new one and all is well
    Sending the old one back will b putting up on cincinnati craigslist when and if they repair it
    My slow speed is way smoother and i dont almost step on it like before.

    Had to buy one as being out of my truck for maybe 3 weeks was.just to long

    What ESC was it XL-2.5 (brushed) or VXL3m (brushless)?

    I have the same problem. I just shiped my esc to traxxas to get it replaced

    I shipped mine and bought a nw one big differance in slow speed response less cogging and no lurch and lock ups now i cann take it
    For a walk now and not step on it lol

    Oh ok, shoulda remembered I was in the VXL forum. Traxxas needs a summit brushed forum! But anyway, sorry your ESC burned out. I hope it doesn't happen to my XL-2.5.

    It did not burn up still ran but not right. They burn up when you series up two 7.2 volt bats 3 cell lipo max for the vxl3m even says
    It in the model number lol hope yours stays sane just read the destructions and follow them
    First thing traxxas tech asked was what battery/s i was running.

    Oh, I didn't think about that. My XL-2.5 is fine but have an a-arm broken. If it gets to the ESC blowing up, at least I can tell them I'm using THEIR default 7.2 volt 1200mah batteries with a parallel.
