sounds like your ESC is wanting throttle inputs when you turn it on. Check your manual....


....if you get the beeps when you turn it on, pull the trigger to full throttle. after a few seconds, you should get a spiral tone and more red blinks and beeps...

...push throttle to full reverse. after a few , you should get a spiral tone and more red blinks and beeps...

...throttle to neutral and it should set itself and turn green for ya.

The fan turning on when you switch it on is normal. The fan only turns on when it's necessary. I'm not aware of any fan setting on the Castle Link.

No fan setting I've ever seen. Fan only runs if the esc gets too hot.

The beep comes after 20-30 seconds of not using your radio (turning or using throttle). Yes, one of the lights will blink with the beep. Very normal.
