I'm not sure what is going on but when under hard turning tot he right the trust makes quick clicking sounds from the steering linkage. Its almost as if the servo is turning too far. Is there a way to correct this? Thanks.

this is a common problem. keep your eyes on the forum. i may have come up with a "gear preservation technique" for the 2080 servo, but only time will tell.
What did you do? ^
Thanks for the link, when getting a new servo do you have to do anything prior to installing it? Or is it plug and play?
Depends on which servo you get.
In my opinion, the 390 is by far the easiest to install... all the stock hardware is used. Just remove the old, install the new, plug it in, and reverse the servo direction and you are good to go.
390 Set Up
All stock hardware is used.
NONE of the hardware included is needed!
There are tab braces that do not allow the servo gaurd to sit flush.
IT IS OPTIONAL TO REMOVE THEM.
I have done this both ways without any adverse reactions.
Here is a picture of the braces:
(thanks goes to danielhr77 for the picture)
The tab braces create a small gap between the chassis and the servo gaurd.
You will also need to reverse the servo direction.
These are the steps to follow to do so for LINK:
Hold MENU for 3 seconds
Green Blinks
Press MENU
2 Green Blinks
Press SET
Green Blinks
Press SET
Red Blinks
Press SET
8 Green Blinks
Hold MENU
Setup Complete
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.
Makg- im not sure i want to post til i find the cons. so far, it costs less than 50 cents and works just how i wanted it, but i dont want to release something in the pre-stages that will destroy people's servos even quicker.
