i have had my jato 3.3 for about a month and have had to replace the upper chassis this tinme here will be the sixth time.i am not hard on it,i dont jump it or run head on into any stationary objects.i mainly run it in a stright line wide open like im trying to set a landspeed record with it,very rare have i taken it in the grass or dirt.
i keep breaking the 2 front bolt hole tabs on the upper chassis plate were it mounts/bolts to the front bulkhead.any ideas?

yea i just like to run it wide open in a straight line for fun,no jumps, hills or dirt.b4 i was able to finish the engine breakin the rear wheels fell off from where regular nuts were used instead of locknuts to hold the wjeels on.
i have installed the aluminum control arms and front bulkhead.when i broke the upper chassis the first time i had to bend and twist and tweak the lower chassis/plate to get all the bolt holes to line up.i may have a defective frameplate...idk
this was brandnew in the sealed box.i think i have almost topped in parts for the jato wat i have put into my nitro 4tec 1.5

Yea imma have to do something about the rear, all it wants to do is spin one tire on takeoff and I'm afraid to loosen the slipper clutch too much more.I put victory tires on back and the left side is just about bald where as the riteside still has plenty of tread left

I have 50k in mine now. I think the stock fluid is only 10k I might be wrong though. I also picked up 100k but I haven't tried it yet. The 50k was a big improvement over stock. It's still spins the inside tire more on sharp turns but not nearly as much.

If your wheels are spinning and you are losing traction when you apply power, this is a symptom of your suspension being possibly too stiff, or your shock oil is too thick, or both.

Shock oil along with the holes in the piston of the shock sets the rebound rate. If the rebound rate is too slow the tire will not stay in contact with the ground when up to speed and applying power. AS it rolls over things it is not responding fast enough to the surface conditions causing traction loss.

Maybe you need to go to lighter springs, or lighter oil, or both....
