    My upgrades in the works

I was having a hard time steering my pede. Not in skill (although i am terrible) but actual steering. I finally did the pede in when I clipped the kids sandbox at full throttle.

    the resulting carnage

So a few bucks later and this is where i'm at. Still waiting on some parts though....

Next is a Swami bar to replace the broken TRX wheelie bar, an RPM tranny cover and then aluminum axle carriers for the back. Somewhere down the road i'm debating new A arms but can't make my mind up on plastic or aluminum.

Thanks for the help and tips to get this back together.

Yep been there and done that. LOL Did you find the correct king pin replacements to order? RPM A-arms are a good place for a stock pede. I'd totally recommend the Protrac Kit as that would widen your truck if that is an option you see in your future. Very few people run aluminum A-arms they get pretty scratched up and tend to bend easliy there, I wouldnt get them. That's me.

The Swami bar is a good choice for a wheelie bar. He takes a little while to ship out, worth it though. You got it coming together there really well.

That's why I was bouncing the aluminum/plastic idea around looks vs. durability. I was considering the Protrac kit but widening the stance isn't really that important for me, plus I just invested in all new camber and toe links. Typically, I upgrade only after I break it. As far as the right king pins, I found em. Jus waiting for them to arrive.

Do not get aluminum a arms. Get rpm ones. Aluminum bends and then when you try to bend it back it snaps.
Rpm ones will be indestructible and if you ever break one they will send you a new one free.

^^^ What upbasher said. All of my trucks run RPM A arms and shock towers. Can't go wrong with rpm.

Aluminum castors are a great upgrade for sure. I definitely didnt like RPM for the Castors as they flexed way to easy at the track. I know you are talking aluminum for those just thought i'd pass that along. Going aluminum or RPM on the carriers are both great. Aluminum is going to be stout w/o any flex but once they bend they are no bueno. They can be bent but will become weak. The RPM if put in a predicament will flex and be ok after a hard bash. If you end up taking that bad of a hit it'll end up bending the castors to. So i'd almost say personal preference and pocket book will be your choice. IMO

My choice is aluminum Castors & Carriers.

    Some more upgrades...
Just added RPM arms to the front and rear. Got them dirt cheap at the LHS. They had them marked down to $1.99 a pack on clearence!!! Added a set of STRC hinge pins on them too. Got my STRC casters on the rear (finally). TRX red aluminum camber links and tie bars all around, and the tie bar stabilizer on the front. But the best upgrade of all is a set of Pro Line Desperados with Trenchers wrapped around them. Got them here on the market place from G-Rustler for a good price. Still wanting a swami bar, and saving my pennies for a brushless setup and lipo.
I'm at work so I'll throw some pics up soon.

Nice. You have the same upgrade mentality as me! Upgrade when you break Keep your eyes peeled on the MP and ebay I pieced together a great vxl-3s system for $70. Keep up the great work!
