I run a slip stream too but was really disappointed in its strength, which is weird as I used to love proline bodies on my nitro revo.

My stock shell seemed far more durable. I will buy a stock unpainted traxxas body next.

I have seen E-Maxx bodies on E-Revos, and I think it looks cool. And apparently, it only needs a but of trimming/adjusting to fit, and E-Maxx body mounts. Im building a E-Revo and I think Im going with this look too. I think it looks better without the wing.

I just ordered one of these. I read somewhere on this forum that rounding the corners when cutting the vent holes will help with durability.

Which Proline Baja Beetle body are you using? There are two different sizes listed that last time I checked into this body.

    Tower hobbies.
I got another one here trimmed and cleaned, just needs paint to finish off.
Only thing I do to fit it is use a straight/rear bumper on the front of the chassis. This allows a better fit as the body is quite long.

Not 100% sure but I think the one on proline website that fits erevo, revo 3.3, tmaxx 3.3.

ProLine Baja Beetle (Proline P/N 3238-60)

I have another one on the way for my Thunder Tiger MT4 G3. They look great, and take a lot of abuse.

3.2 with the excess rubber/ old unused bead cut off.
I also machined the inner bead lip off the rim To give a better gluing surface.
Got to unglue em and replace foams as 2 foams are broken.

This is the 3.8 glued to Proline VTR Truggy rims.

Im running a red t-maxx 3.3 body, i love the lines and color scheme. i especially love the hood design.

This is just a pic off the internet to show you what body i have, i cant get a pic of my actual e-revo yet. it fits great, some trimming but it looks sweet. especially with the wing

The old, old ProLine F350 extended body. I just got the F650 for the new Maxx / 3.3 Revo and it is MASSIVE - appreciably larger than anticipated as it covers both bumpers. We'll see how it goes, but I think I like the 350 more. 650 should be a good replacement though.

Brewers I really like this body. It gives the truck a different look. Did you have to modify it much to get it to fit?
