twitching in front end and no throttle
i had a high speed, multiple end over end flipping crash with my jato and now when i turn the power switch on, the front steering linkage and tires start twitching. i cannot get any response from the radio to the car. the steering continues to twitch and there is no throttle response either. is this or could this be a servo? thanks for any help!
Unplug both servos from the reciever. Plug the throttle servo into port 1, then port 2, see if you get response in either.
Then plug in the steering servo into port 1, then 2.
If neither servos are getting a response in either port, your receiver is busted.
would these ports be on the car? im kinda new to all of this, so please dont think its a stupid question, lol!
The battery/switch + both servos should lead to a small box.
The box should have 3 or 4 "ports". 1 will be for the battery, the other ones will be for the servos. The battery/switch will have 2 wires, and there servos will have 3.
if the servos are bad do you have suggestions for an upgraded version
The stock ones are pretty efficient, as are the Traxxas waterproof ones.
Take a look on eBay for metal geared + high torque ones if you have the cash though.
