    Brushed e maxx for 360?

Is this a good car to drive? I found one for 360 new in box. I know the e maxx has a old design with many flaws, but will I break much brushed going only 30mph?

Thats a good price for a NIB Brushed E-Maxx as long as it's the 3903 model (2.4ghz radio and receiver).

I wouldn't so far to say that the E-Maxx design is flawed. It's a design that has been around for many years and comes in Electric and Nitro. That's kinda like saying that the Ford F-150 platform is flawed.

I think for the price it's a great entry level truck that you can expand on. I also think that experiances vary. By that I mean what you get out of an E-Maxx is directly related to what you do to it. If your the kind of guy that wants crazy speed so you jump your house then you need not get a brushed E-Maxx.

A Brushed E-Maxx is my 1st hobby grade RC and I've had it for about a year now. 3 of 4 times that considerable damage was done to it happened when it was being used outside of reasonable driving conditions or drivers error.
1- Broken A-Arm, the wife drove it WOT into a trash can.
2- Broken A-arm and axle carrier, my 19 yo son drove it into a cable disto box.
3- Bent shock shafts and broke rear shock tower, I landed a 5 ft jump directly on the tail end, all the energy was sent up the rear shock tower.
    4. Broken front bulkhead, hinge pin and bent shock shaft, I hit a 4x4 wooden post WOT. A-arm held up because I had swapped to RPM.

If your going to abuse the truck right out of the box that stock parts won't hold up.

Driver experiance makes a difference also. I seem to be breaking less parts. I think it's due to upgrades and my driving style. I've learn the vehicles (and mine) limitations.

If it's with in your budget I'd say go for it. You'll find a lot of E-Maxx owners that love it. It's one of the most widely upgradeable vehicles out there.

    Just my two cents.

Yes, but he is reffering to the 3906 model i would bet, which has many flaws and will break many things going 15mph. So $360 is not worth it.

I might go for that for $150, but not anything higher than that.

I thought of that, but I figured what are the chances the OP came across an New In the Box 3906? That would be kinda cool!
