Question 2.8 rims and 2.2 tires.

    Hello
So I've been getting stuck in some tall grass when I'm bashing at a BMX track and I was thinking about getting some 2.2 Pro-Line Dirt Hawgs II on 2.8 Rims.
Do you think it will work?

The Dirt Hawgs are: 2" Width x 4" Height
Trenchers SC tires are: 1.83" Width x 4.35" Height

    What do you guys think?

    Here are the tires

Are you looking at cutting the 2.2s to fit the 2.8s? Are you using stock tires now? If so look at the Badlands, they have them in SC style and hook up like no other off road, just don't even think about running them onroad unless you want slicks.

if you run 1/8th scall buggy tires they will help raise your truck up. and they have the bad lands available or check out some duratrax lock ups paid 50 bucks for set of 4 with rims.

Yeah I'm going to cut the 2.2 tire a bit to fit the 2.8 rims I saw a mod. I'm have the stock rims and tires and a set of pro-line trenchers SC rims and tires.
I want something a little taller, a little wider that I can run on on-road and off-road an all-terrain tire.

    I might do this.
Getting the more offset rims and putting the Dirt Works 2.2
