well, i have had my 3.3 for almost a month now, broke it the first day i ran it after break in. sat on bench a week. got parts ran round the yard, broke again got some parts to piece it together, somewhat, still broke. seems to take forever and 10 weeks to get parts.ordered $300 worth of integy parts last night on top of the $300 at the hobbyshop 2 weeks ago. wow this expensive. but its fun. i,m gettin where i like taking it apart more than running it into bushes, trees, and feet. wifey was playing with it the other day and she skipped it down the driveway on its top and bent the exhaust manifold. i have no clue how that got bent hidden way down in the car like it is lol but its fun actually its like a little kid...seems im always chasing after it and its getting me exercise lol
it seems to have 1 problem that bothers me. at 2/3 throttle it bogs down like the engine not getting enough air. i lightened the oil load on the filters and didnt seem to help, i have richened the high needle to no avail any suggestions?(dont matter if tank is full or empty)
a buddy bought a revo a couple weeks ago, he happened to come with us when i went to fargo to get parts for mine. he made fun cause i spent 300 on spare parts. i told him to buy some parts he didnt, now i get the last laugh he hit a lightpost and killed the front of his car and no spare parts. he called me and was askin if i wanted to buy it cause it breaks to often and he has no PATIENCE for anything. imma try to keep him on it mine will go fine with no front skidplate as long as i am careful
that was alot..... anybody have the part# for the mounts for the violator tank? and that $11 throttle servo and a suggestion for a good steering servo? other than that i should be good for parts for a long while lol
thanks for listening

) you should go with RPM a arms and FLM alum bulkheads !! if you do that you will not need to worry so much about broken parts. Also put a wing on it to save your engine from getting damiged. I agree the engine sounds like it is running lean. When mine is too lean it cuts out at high speeds. It would be your high speed nedel you need to adjust. your low speed nedel might be too rich causing all that oil at low speed but your high might be too lean causing it to cut out at higher speeds. I would set boath low and high nedels to factory setings and go from there.
