    Temp Gauge Question

I have this MIP temp gauge I used about 7 or 8 years ago in my brief stint with nitro. I used it on my T-Maxx .15. If I was to sinch this up around my VXL motor, would it be accurate in it's temp readings? If so, where exactly would be the best place to tighten it up against...the end toward the spur gear, or the end toward the motor leads?

It will work, and it does'nt matter where you put it. It should all be the same temp.

I put mine on the end where where you can see the shaft (end that sticks out where the wires come out).

I have an infrared temp gauge but I always thought those were kind of neat. Might pick one up.

Temperatures will be hottest at the endbell of the motor (part farthest from shaft.)
I'm not sure it really matters unless you are cutting it waaay too close for comfort.
I know they're having their break there by your brake drums. No, you're not invited.
