I think this is all the set up has left. The next move would be 5s or 6s.

Interesting thread, but I just dont see the 2200 putting in a higher top speed than 1717. Just dont think the torque will be there. I wouldnt mind being humbled though. ��

Nah, really tho, it looked pretty fast. You could make it look even faster if you sped up the vid like you did the first half of the vid.

i know for a fact the 2200 will go faster than the 1717..

The 2200kv will most defiantly be faster. and the 2650kv motor will be faster then the 2200kv

Be careful! You better only do 1-2 runs then stop on the 34t pinion.

YOLOer, just picked up a used garmin for $70. Im swaping out systems today MMM 2200 & esc with extra cap pack, 34p 6s. Going to pick up where you left off for right now, you still get credit. If you had 3s batteries i know you would have done the same or better. Will probably make a run sunday with video if i dont get to it today.

Thats Awesome can't wait to see the results! I would recommend bringing a soldering iron. My connections got hot today and one had melted apart! Also If you saw in the video I wasn't even using a splitter on the car. I think the weight of the gps had helped with that. Going out for another run now!

Well i hope i don't run into that. Granted on 4s with that gearing te esc was screaming for more juice. That scenario is not a good one for the esc. I personaly dont like getting the esc over 125 deg or the motor over 160 deg. Which on 6s only a few runs shoud be ok.

Hey gene you should see speeds of around 110-112mph on your set-up with good lipo's..

Well the run didn't go so well-
I was driving and I go to the end of the street.
Hit the gas and go then I start to hit the brakes.
(I Changed the brake setting from 10% to 70%)
So the car locks up and start to goes side ways.
Goes side ways for 10 feet then flys up in the air from all the air rushing over the side of the body.
The car tumbles in the air and lands right on the front shock tower.
I thought I had just bent the tower but I had actually cracked it!
Well her is the aftermath-

AWW MAN! Thought stock brakes were at 50%? Well you just learned something that my E-revo taught me 8 months ago when i was messing around with the brakes. You got it now right?

Yoloer, tough break. Been there before. I still dont think the smaller 1/8 motors are going to have as much torque as the 1717. They wont swing a gear as tall as the 1717.

What's also funny is I bought mine brand new and it looks almost identical to yours except your body is in way better condition than mine!

I just finished mounting up my new 1/8 setup on my XO-1. I'm using a 150A ESC and 2150kv motor. I installed the stock pinion for now. I'll start a new thread with pics.

Well I was running before my 6s came in and this is what happened-


Idk What really happened must have hit some dirt or something.

Body is destroyed

Got my lipos in but they are too tall.


So I have to order the new taller battery post.

Also I have a new paint job coming never seen on the Xo-1 and I wont get my Xo-1 running until Probably May 23rd or latter because of only being able to use ground shipping.
