Longer leads to charge my lipos.

I have a pair of the 5800 mah batteries.

I am using the hitec x4plus charger at 3 amps but the leads for the banana plugs are pretty short to fit in my lipo bags. The balancer extensions work great.

Is there a concern about splicing in a length of 14 or 12 gauge wire to make the leads longer?

3 amps over less than 1 foot should be nothing at 8.4 volts.

nothing to worry about just do a good splice, no bare ends, etc...
