yea its not hard at all, pretty easy task. youll have to mess with your gearing seeing its set up for the bigger tires.

Woot I found it! This was my little chart was thinking about doing this to my revo 2.5r. This is what it will cost according to the slayer manual but e-Bay will drop it alot. I've seen 3.3 chassis for 10-15$.
And for the spur gear and clutch bell since the revo tires are bigger was going to try and gear them for the smaller tires. Instead of getting a new slayer transmission don't know if it will work tho.
Then I searched craigslist and ebay to try to find a used slayer pro for 250$ and found mine for 350$ with all the upgrades I wanted + more for 350$.
I'm not sure if this is everything or too much stuff but I'm pretty sure it's correct.

    Revo 2.5r Conversion Slayer 4x4 Pro 3.3

    3.3 Chassis - 60$ Steering Linkage - $3.50
    A-Arms(Upper & Lower, Left Front) - $7.50 A-Arms(Upper & Lower, Right Front) - $7.50
    A-Arms(Upper & Lower, Left Rear) - $7.50 A-Arms(Upper & Lower, Right Rear) - $7.50
    Front Drive Shaft - $4.25 Axles(Front & Rear, Left & Right) - $10.00 x2
    Suspension Rods Front - $9.00 x2 Suspension Rods Rear - $7.00 x2
    Spur Gear- $3.00 Clutch Bell - $12.00
    Rims & Tires - $28.00 x2

oh for the suspension rod's there called
"5918 Push rod (steel) (assembled with rod ends) (2) (use with
    progressive-2 rockers) .................................................. ..................... $7.00"
front and backs are the same and they come with 2 but you need 4
and the other ones are called
"5939 Turnbuckles, toe links, 72mm (2) (assembled with rod ends and
    hollow balls) .................................................. ..................................... $9.00"
they are the same part # for front and back
They both come in a pack of 2 but you need 4.
