    12T motor on VXL 3s

I got my new slash VXL last week. Cant wait to run it...
My LHS has an indoor clay track, to run new to intermediate races I need to get a 12T motor.
I am in no way skilled enough to run open class. (This is my 1st race truck)
My question is can I run a 12T motor with the VXL 3s ESC? or do I need to purchase XL5 ESC to go with the motor?
    Thanks Brian

Yes, you can run the Titan on the VXL speedo. Actually, I'm pretty sure there is no turn limit for brushed motors on the VXL.

You can use any brushed motor you want with the esc.

Connect the brushed motors red and white wires to the blue and white wires on the esc.

The maxx power the motor can handle. That info is in the specs on the motor that you can find on here. To help you out though, the motor can handle up to 8.4 volts.
