    how to get summit out of lvd with nickle battries??

    Fully charged I have heard you cannot since in LiPo mode it goes into over-voltage protection. If you can run the batteries down a little (does the steering still work?) then you will be able to turn LVD off.

    I think I got that correct.

    I had to drop my nimhs way down in order to take mine out of the lvd. I had a thread about it here somewhere.

    I did it...it's like a game of whack-a-mole. No kidding, you just gotta be fast. The INSTANT that green light comes on let off and press again and hold! Just don't press too hard and break it. I had this same problem when going from Lipo to the stock nimhs.
