    My tmaxx build

Woohoo I picked up some Holden horizon aluminium bulks that I picked up for only $50 a chassis brace This is my build for my basher I have rpm arms all the way around traxxas big bore shocks and a 1972 chevy body that I have to pain yet. I picked up red and black. I was thinking the front red half then pinstriping it into the black rear end so it flows good. Everything should be done by Friday and I will post pictures for you guys. Oh and also waiting for rpm wearplatrs that are on order. This is almost all I can think of to bulletproof it. Any ideas anyone? All input appreciated

you could 2 tone it top and bottom vs. the front and back still seperated by a pinstripe.

    more upgrades id recomend

    lunsford rasing titanium hinge pins
    ofna violator tank
cvd axles all the way around
    aluminum shock towers
50w shock oil and rc raven duel rate springs (big bore springs are softer than stock, and both are way to soft)
5 cell hump pack and ditch the AA tires
    Proline badland tires
    upgraded steering servo
tonys screwz through out entire rig
forward only conversion if it has reverse.

Nope no reverse. It already has rpm shock towers so I'll defiantly be buying aluminium after/if they break. My GH bulks take a certain hing pin. Do you know if Lunsford makes pins for that kind. I'll also be getting a newer tank when it breaks. My stock one surprising hasn't broke yet. I've heard horror storries about the steel cvd axles. I thought they wound bend really easily, does anyone have any personal experience with em? @naturalstrike. Yep for sure I hope to be done by Saturday I have to go pick up a dremel set tomorrow to sand the body.

Agh great, I tore down my front end and installed my GH bulks only to realising the pins that came with em aren't long enough to go through the upper a arms. I guess a have no choice but to switch to the stock ones. That's a bummer and my steering arms don't even clear the hinge pin so it only turns half way.. And the hobby shop is 4 hours away.... lunsford rasing titanium hinge pins not needed
    ofna violator tank definite upgrade
cvd axles all the way around yes
aluminum shock towersnot needed ive had my maxxs for 6 yrs and never broke one
50w shock oil and rc raven duel rate springs (big bore springs are softer than stock, and both are way to soft)yes
5 cell hump pack and ditch the AA tireshump pack yes, tires are personal preference
Proline badland tires run what you want
upgraded steering servodefinate ive tried savox and ebay servos and ebay servos lasted way longer and cheaper got for for 35 shipped, but on my bb maxx i spent the money and bought a hitec hs7995tg
tonys screwz through out entire rignot needed right away but nice to have
forward only conversion if it has reverse.
one of the first and best upgrades to do in my opinion

Ok here's my 4907 tmaxx. Hop ups:
    Rpm shock towers
    Rpm a arms
    Rpm front bumper
GH aluminium bulks front and back
    Traxxas big bore shocks
Proline 1972 chevy bOdy. (my first paint job)

I'm still waiting on rpm wearplates and another set of chassis braces
The ones in this pic are brand new and too short. If anyone wants to buy
them from me or trade, pm me. anyways hope you enjoy the pics

Whats the deal on the shorty antenna? I think my t maxx is shorter, will that body fit? Once my trucks dialed in, Id like to make some adjustments so that its a better jumper.

the shorty antenna is for the 2.4ghz radio system. if your still running the old AM you will need the longer one otherwise you will lose signal easy.

So where do you find these rc raven duel rate springs? I picked up the oil. What does a 2.4 ghz radio system go for?

cheapest place would be to shop around on ebay for all of it. you can get it all there or go through other sites like rc ravens website itself which i think is just the name with .com on the end of it

Can anyone recommend a stronger steering servo that works with this I'm only
Looking to spend 40-$60 on a servo. Also anyone know of a good hump pack
that works with the eZ start charger?

I sanded a little bit off of my bellcranks to make room. If you have the tools the safer thing to do would be to cut the hinge pin

I'm sorry but promised my gf I'd hang with her tonight. I can get a pic for you tomorrow. I shaved off quite a bit to get it to work. I'd strongly recommend just grinding down the a arm pin. But I'll defiantly get a pic up for you tomorrow
