Hope this is in the right forum.
Ok so I was going to put the Castle MMP SCT 2400kv in my stampede, but decided against it because of the cutting it involved. So I purchased a Slash 4x4 Ultimate that will be here Wed. I got all the upgrades needed to make this work properly. My question is about the traxxas link and TQi controller. I downloaded the app onto my iPod Touch, uploaded the Ultimate profile and browsing the motors. The Castle 1415 is not one of the options, but the MMP esc is. Will this cause a problem? How do I make this work? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

is doesn't matter, you need to adjust the esc not the motor.

Ok so what motor should I choose as the option for the Traxxas link. Also which ESC option should I choose, the Castle Mamba Monster, Or Mamba Monster 100?

I'm not familiar with the traxxas link, I run spektrum and use the castle link to do the settings.

I think all the new ultimates come with the new tqi controller. Read the specs on what you bought. And yes you modify the esc not motor

Will do. Truck should be here Wednesday and the final parts should be here by Thursday. I'll have it out and running hopefully by Friday. I'm going to call Traxxas and see what they say. Stay Tuned.

Ok so I called Traxxas and was informed that the MMP 2400kv system is going into their new Funny Car drag racing cars and that the app should update shortly with the new motor ESC combo. The car is to be released by the end of the month and he said that the app will update before that. Just keep checking your app. He told me it should be within the next few days if it hasn't already been done.

I don't look at the main page either. Thats why when he said that I was surprised just like you. Looks to be a pretty legit set up. You can also get the light tree and timing to drag race your buddies. I was just happy that they are gonna add the combo to the app, let alone now they are putting it in a car.

I run DX3s, yeah pretty much just plug it in, calibrate your throttle with the esc, and done deal.

I like the tree setup! I am planning to do a rc drag race event in Indianapolis in July! This will make it even better!

yeah it has telemetry function, you just the the receiver and the sensors for it.
