Please! For the love of Traxxas forum users everywhere! GET A NEW CAMERA! Or get a little tripod. I had a heck of a setup in my basement with a camera mounted to the ceiling for a nice overhead shot. It looked great, even with a 60 dollar camera. Tripod though... get one.

Don't get me wrong, a new camera would be nice... but you can "run what you brung" and have it look a little nicer. Don't use the video stabilization, or at least don't use it to that degree. I've found that the body lean and vibration add to the feel of the video, unless it's so bad that you can't tell what your watching. If you are looking to upgrade your camera, it's hard to suggest anything but a GoPro. They take incredible video, have tons of mounting options, and can be picked up for, $199.99. If you plan to use onboard shots often, they simply can't be beat. Check out the videos on my channel on YouTube to see some examples. All of the onboard stuff is GoPro. For regular video, I'm still using my really old (4 years maybe?) Panasonic DMC-TZ3 and a Creative Vado HD (2nd gen) that I got refurbished off of ebay for 60 dollars.

For simply doing short recordings of upgrades or some fly byes,
Ipod Touch and decent cell phone cameras work great if you have one. As well will any other half way decent small camcorder. It probably would have been a perfectly good video if the stabilizer wasnt used.

I saw the same, but above is the option to switch to Desktop. That worked.

The camera did some really wierd stuff. Like it was filming itself. The date/time was flashing up and down, and those black lines on the sides were wierd. Image and sound were pretty okay for the short time I saw it, but those two things were a bit to much. It takes a pretty solid, well built camera to handle that sort of abuse and look "good"

Good effort... keep perfecting your video making. But I do have to agree... the camera gave me a headache... the strange out of focus blurring just weirded out my brain. Even a $100 point and shot that takes 720 video would be fine. Use the one you have for on car shots and use the good one for in the shop shots. Then edit it all together.

Also, this is not in any way a mean comment... at least I don't intend it to be at all. I would suggest slowing down a bit when you talk. Again, this isnt personal and I hope you take it as a funny difference in our cultures, but to us in north america you have an accent and its pretty strong. When you talk fast its hard to understand what your saying. Im sure the same would go for you listening to me when I talk so its important to take your thoughts slowly and clearly. Im a fast talker and work on TV so I have to struggle with this every day. Its just a suggestion.

Nice looking lights when it was all done. I would have liked to see more shots of the end results. Maybe a photo in the dark would look cool.

Where are you located? Im assuming you don't have a futureshop or best buy just down the road? Id look up a camera on their site for you but that may be a waste. What websites do you buy from (electronics related)?

It's a TV show on the outdoor channel that is pretty much about snowmobiles . Go to their website. They also have a show called Dirt Trax that is very similar but with ATVs and side-by-sides.

This thread is hopelessly off topic. If you guys want to talk about cameras or get or give camera recommendations put up a thread in The Alley.
