    A few questions!

Just built the e-revo and got it up and running yesterday!!

    few questions..

    A. I have yet to hit the cutoff for the mmm, what does it do when it gets cut off?

    B. What temp should the motor not exceed?

    C. What temp should the ESC not exceed?

    D. Where do i point the temp thing at for a accurate measure, the side of the esc and the back/ top of the motor?

    E. Should i be concerned about temp with a 23/65 gearing ratio on 4s?

    Thanks

the truck will not have much power you can't miss it (hitting the LVC)..

Hot motor + cool esc = under geared.
Cool motor + hot esc = over geared
    Everything warm just right..

Motor ~ 180/190*F maximum, ideally 140/160*F, temps can be 10* higher inside the motor
ESC ~ pretty much same temps / Fan comes on @ 150*F
    Lipo's ~ 140*F max, ideally 100/120*F

23/65 dependes on your driving style, where you are driving( example.. heavy grass) & air temp.

where to take the temps find the hot spot..
Would you go flip my truck back over??

also when I accelerate the motor coggs sometimes, is that because of my overgearing? Or my dx2.0 sucks.. so..

If it's when you first start moving from a stand still or at very low speeds it is normal for a non sensored brushless motor to do that. It should be very smooth once you're moving faster than a crawl though.

^ that is high gearing for NiMH, should stick with stock gearing until you get into lipos. Even with stock gearing & NiMH it is hard to pull wheelies..

shuttering is normal like stated, from a dead stop..
