I don't know about properly...
I remove non-waterproof items and then hose it down with hot water...
drying is done by compressed air and then I oil the exposed bearings.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.
well i have a stock car what isnt water proof do you happen to know buy chance?
All 1/16ths are waterproof from factory.
If you have installed aftermarket items, those items may not be waterproof.

ive only installed a T bone brace. do i need to tape over the conector to the esc?
No.
Just be sure everything is dry before using again. That way dirt will not stick so easily... lol

alright good deal now i have one more question, you have a merv right? and which is better to have; your springs loose or tight?
Yes, I have a MERV.
You want your springs to hold your RC half way through the suspension travel after dropped from about a foot in height and fully loaded with batteries.
If the suspension is not performing how you like at this setting, you may need different oil or springs...
possibly even shocks.
I have upgraded shocks... couldn't find the right setting with stock.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.
alright sweeet! thanks for the help, also can the merv do start off wheelies with two stock batterys? or what do you have to do to get a start off wheelie?
It has been a long time since I ran stock batteries...
But I think I remember popping wheelies with two batteries ran in parallel in stock configuration.
I now run 2200mah 2S LiPo's with a 50k filled center diff and still can pop small wheelies off the line.
That was with the stock ESC and motor.... now, with my ********* and 4370Kv motor, I can make it stand up on the wing off the line.
(center diff is supposed to make it harder to wheelie)
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.
oh ok sweet thanks for the help man!
No problem.
