as the description says, one is a heavy duty x version (6828x) while the other is standard heavy duty (6828). My guess is that the "X" version is stronger. i would buy the heavy duty x over the non heavy duty x ones, but In my own opion i would just upgrade the entire driveshaft to Tekno or MIP.

If you are going to buy Mip, make sure you get the Mip X-Duty shafts

The (x) in traxxas part numbers usually indicates an aluminum part, although I see no evidence of that in the websites part description.

The x on the Traxxas part number is typically a indication of xtra/ heavy duty not aluminum. I am having good luck with the Traxxas 6252x rear and 6851x front. These are about $7-$10 each side and are according to traxxas have a different composition making them stronger, plus you can use your old units for spares if you break at the track, etc.

    thanks for the answer...

those you sent me are the sets..

will i need something extra to install them on my slash 4x4?

    for example
one friend said above ''''''If you are going to buy Mip, make sure you get the Mip X-Duty shafts''''

what does he mean by that.. ?
i contacted with amainhobbies live support and told me that those two sets.. frnt and rear fit exactly and i do not need to
    buy something extra
