    newbie

Got a good deal on a Spartan. All stock but no batteries. Went to a hobby shop and the guy pushed 6s lipos on me. My question is, being stock will 6s be too much? Like get the components too hot with only one water intake.. Can i get a few recomendations for batteries from you guys?

Well what I did was change tubes to bigger inside diameter and I will be getting dual water pickup rudder and metal cooling jacket!

it will handle 6s but you need to do the cooling mods which you can find many threads on in this forum bigger line dual rudder pickup so you can run a line to motor and esc

If you change the prop stay conservative with the stock electrics on 6s. Octura x442 or Prather 215.

I see from many threads that changing tubes to a bigger diameter will help... But water will only flow through given the smallest diameter of the whole chain right? So keeping all the connectors and just changing the transparent tubes in between will not help anything right?

Understand that due pick-up helps but bigger tubes?
