LOL. I can't wait for mine... shipping to Canada is a darn hassle. Even if I get a decent shipping rate, it takes at least 10 business days.

Those shafts seem like they will make reassembly of the car much easier. I'm always fighting those center shafts

Posted this in my journal thread, but thought that this 7250r install thread might be a better choice....

Ended up as 2wd at the end of the day sat. Just got around to checking it last night and......

it seems my 7250r steel center driveshaft lost a pin

does anyone know what might work as a replacement pin??? It is the one that is supposed to be held in place by the o ring.
I wondering if the axle pins might work??

They are the same diameter but not long enough. Go get a Traxxas 7055 rebuild kit 15.00 has pins,o rings and stub axles

Is the pin you're talking about the small threaded screw that goes through the assembly?

Searching this thread to get the 7055 part number driver side front pin popped. I'm guessing this rebuild kit works for the traxxas cvds as well?

In april I lost a pin to the center drive shaft and fixed it with a pin from the 7055 kit.
Now, I have lost a pin for the cvds and now need a pin for the 7151x.

It looks like I still have 2 shorter length pins, but I believe I need the longer of the two replacement pins.

If you have a local hobby shop near by grab some piano wire that is the same diameter as the pin, I've also used a body pin to cut an extra pin in a pinch, you'll just need to find the right diameter pin.

First time I seen this shaft setup ignored the rubber oring was looking at my purchase list pic and then oh no, Considering the damage to the stock shaft that Oring is going to get shredded I 've got some idea on how to keep it on without that rubber Oring of Obsolescence.
