Alright, my 12mm stock hex's keep on stripping my rims. I stripped a proline renegade rim and a dynamite rim. Both rims are 2.2. I run the 2400 castle 21/50 on 3s and MIPs all around. Is my next step aluminum 12mm hex's?

Next step would be to try aluminum ones yes, but the best idea would be to ditch 12mm all together and switch to 17mm, its the best route to go with the MMP 2400kv set up. they can take aton more abuse and torque

i have thought about that, but i have 5 sets of tires that are all 12mm hex, but 2 rims are junk due to sripping

Ok, just buy some JB weld and glue the plastic hexes into place on the stripped rims.

It works rather well. I have done it several times! Then I got aluminum wheels and hexs! No more problems![]()
